VISION

We strengthen climate-resilient, species-rich forests – with healthy, site-adapted forestry plants from responsible cultivation and short routes. Every plant should be a stable building block of future forest ecosystems.

Quality before quantity, diversity instead of monoculture, soil fertility as the foundation. We combine experience, regional provenance, and modern technology for sustainable reforestation.

Strengthen roots – plant the future.

OUR HISTORY

Chronological milestones and the development of our company since 1985.

  1. 1985

Verner-Baumschulen is founded. On an area of 10 ha in Vollbüttel near Gifhorn, forestry plants of all kinds are produced. Roland Blume establishes the nursery at just under 40 years of age.

    Founding
  2. 1992

Around 30 ha in Neudorf-Platendorf are added. Rhododendron, thuja, cypress, boxwood, ornamental shrubs as well as specimen trees and Christmas trees are mainly planted there. The soil is very humus-rich and close to the groundwater.

    Expansion
  3. 1994

A shipping hall with 800 m² of floor space is built. Plants are sorted, bundled, and prepared for dispatch here.

  4. 1995

The company is expanded with a larger cold store for overwintering seedlings and seed.

  5. 1999

An office building with a manager’s apartment is constructed.

Today we operate a company equipped with the latest machinery. We can therefore meet the most diverse customer requirements both in the provision of plant material and in the plant work to be carried out. Put our top production to the test and request a non-binding quote.
